“ The service was great, the ambiance was wonderful, and the food was OUTSTANDING! Everything was made with fresh ingredients that were very well seasoned. The Lebanese tea was great, and it's a little bit of a splurge, but try the fried cheese! (It's not your typical fried cheese.) ”
“ I came here for lunch on a weekday. Parking was easy in the strip mall lot. The atmosphere is thematically appropriate but not ostentatious, and the place was clean. We were greeted quickly upon entering and given a choice of table. The menu is more on the traditional side, but everything we had was solid. The Chicken Shawarma plate and the Falafel wrap with fries were plenty portion-wise for lunch. Service was polite and attentive. Price-wise. I think their pricing is just a touch high, but not unreasonable. Overall, nothing was extraordinary, but sometimes that's exactly what you want--a solid, straightforward dining experience. ”
“ The wife and I were catching a movie at Studio Movie Grill here in Pearland and we were early so decided to get lunch beforehand. Never being able to pass up Mediterranean food, we spotted Cafe Petra. Upon entering we noticed it was a very clean quaint establishment. We stood for a few before being greeted and there was no sign telling us to seat ourselves but the customers service beyond that was great. Food was delicious. Prepared fresh and was brought out quick. I go the combo gyro sandwich with fries and my wife the gyro with salad. And the fried cheese appetizer. Everything tasted delicious. (My chicken was slightly dry but didn't ruin the gyro). One downside was when we got the bill and noticed we were charged for the extra dressing my wife requested for here salad and wasn't informed that we would be charged for it. ”
“ Have only ordered take-out twice from here but everything tastes so divine and homemade at the same time. Can this even be possible at a reasonably priced restaurant nowadays? I could literally ate at this place every day if I didn't have to actually save money for retirement...haha! ”
“ Really a 4 1/2 only because I got take out and didn't get to eat at the place. The food was excellent, pleasantly surprised to find this awesome Lebanese spot near me!!! Got the chicken kabobs, hummus, kibbi, and baba ghanoush. All was good. ”
“ We visited Cafe Petra Greek and Lebanese in Pearland on a Friday during lunch time. The restaurant sits in a strip center and there is plenty of parking out front. The staff is very friendly and attentive even when they get busy. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed: - fried cheese - French fries - falafel - chicken shawarma plate - gyro plate - tiramisu The portion sizes are large and we had plenty of left overs. We were served by Mohammad. We hope to have the opportunity to come back soon. I hope you give them a try. ”
“ We would have preferred basmati rice instead of regular rice but the food was delicious -- well seasoned and great portion sizes. There's music playing in the background but it's not loud at all. It is very clean and has a good family ambience. Had the service been better, they would have gotten 5 stars from me if the gentlemen paid more attention to detail and checked on us. Recommended dishes: -Spinach Pita -Lamb shank (didn't like the rice it came with) -Shrimp Pasta was tasty! ”
“ I came here a few weeks after they opened. Out of all the dips from the Trio Dip, my favorite was the hummus. It was the more flavorful one. I loved the pita it came with as well. I got the combo plate which was chicken and gyro. The plate came with hummus, rice and salad. The gyro was really good and the chicken was a little bit tender (more dry). I loved the rice; it was perfectly cooked! The tiramisu coffee cake wasn't too bad but it was very strong in taste. The service was great! I didn't have any issues. ”
